TechNinjas is a small team serving Swiss SMEs. When projects need extra capacity or specialist knowledge, we collaborate with freelancers—personally, clearly aligned, without agency overhead.

Both roles are freelance/contractor positions, usually part-time or project-based. Remote is fine; reliability, plain language, and clean handovers matter most.

Freelance · Part-time / project-based

SEO specialist

You support us where SEO depth is needed: technical analysis, indexing, visibility—as a specialist on client projects when we cannot cover everything in parallel in-house.

What you will do

  • Technical SEO audits, crawling, indexing, and Search Console analysis
  • Targeted measures with clear priorities—not generic “SEO packages”
  • Support on structure, metadata, internal linking, and content roadmaps
  • Join ongoing SME projects, aligned with our team and clients
  • Clear documentation and handover—understandable for non-SEO stakeholders

What you bring

  • Several years of SEO-focused experience—technically solid, not content-only
  • Confident with Google Search Console, indexing issues, and structured audits
  • Self-directed work style; fluent German (English a plus)
  • Portfolio, case studies, or references that show your specialisation

Freelance · Part-time / project-based

Software developer WordPress / WooCommerce

You build and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce solutions for SMEs—from delivery and care to stable releases when sites and shops must run day to day.

What you will do

  • Development and evolution of WordPress and WooCommerce projects
  • Maintenance, updates, plugin and theme work—maintainable, not plugin sprawl
  • Performance, security, and solid integrations (e.g. payments, shipping, CRM)
  • Collaboration with us and clients in plain language, short lines
  • Support for existing shops and phased modernisation

What you bring

  • Broad software background with a strong WordPress & WooCommerce focus
  • Solid PHP, common WP patterns, hooks, child themes, and checkout flows
  • Experience with support and long-term maintenance—not greenfield only
  • Clean code, Git, documented handovers; Switzerland experience a plus
